Key Information
  • Working Location: Tuas (walking distance from MRT)
  • 5 day – Mon to Fri (8am to 5pm)
  • US Manufacturing Plant
  • Basic salary + bonus + allowance & other benefits
  • Prior Buyer & Planner (demand & supply planning) experience in manufacturing environment is a must
Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier relationships and improve performance.
  • Plan and issue purchase orders to support engineering and production needs.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels for build-to-order products.
  • Monitor supplier performance on delivery, quality, and cost.
  • Implement commodity strategies for cost‑effective material supply.
  • Research and evaluate potential suppliers and service providers.
  • Maintain supplier qualification, evaluation, and development processes.
  • Identify and drive process improvements for better efficiency.
  • Determines inventory needs, demand/supply planning based on manufacturing history and production forecasts.
  • Supports the implementation and adherence to global processes for efficiency and compliance.
  • Handle procurement‑related administrative tasks and reports.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment (mechanical/electrical/electronic).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management & supply/demand planning.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MRP and ERP software.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
