Job summary

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand.
• Lead cross-functional team to drive problem resolution for supply issues.
• Drive purchasing activities to achieve lowest cost while ensuring quality.
• Lead inventory and E&Z reduction efforts.
• Manage and lead assigned purchasing projects including cost/schedule/scope.
• Handle complex information with supplier leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements and train department purchasing activities.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.
• Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand
• Lead cross-functional team to drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (i.e. engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers, Supplier Account Management)
• Drive purchasing activities to execute purchase at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
• Lead inventory and E&Z reduction efforts
• Manage and lead assigned Purchasing Projects (i.e. Manage cost, schedule, and scope as required)
• Manage complex and sensitive information with supplier leadership team and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to purchasing process improvement within the team and Act as trainer for department purchasing activities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree 2-4 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, competition in the marketplace Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects and build consensus, as needed
