Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including practical experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and team members.
  • A self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Process financial transactions and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage daily budget operations and assist with budget audit matters to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to provide valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Handle the end-to-end procurement of goods and services, including sourcing suppliers.
  • Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives related to financial systems.

We are seeking a motivated Business Support Associate (Finance & Procurement) to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role is vital to our operations, offering the opportunity to manage key financial and procurement processes in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be at the heart of our financial and operational support, with duties that include:

  • Financial Management: Process financial transactions and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage daily budget operations and assist with budget audit matters to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to provide valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Handle the end-to-end procurement of goods and services. This includes sourcing suppliers on GeBIZ, preparing quotations, purchase orders, and managing contracts and vendor relationships.
  • Process Improvement: Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives, particularly those related to financial systems and budget evaluation.
