OpenAI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Recruiter to build critical APAC teams, focusing on technical business roles within B2B and go-to-market functions. You’ll serve as a strategic talent partner, shape hiring strategies with senior stakeholders, and deliver outcomes across global markets.

You’ll report to the APAC Recruiting Lead and collaborate with global recruiting, People, and business leadership to scale the organization with high hiring standards.

Competenze

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in-house at high-growth or high-bar environments.
  • Proven track record of hiring for business functions (e.g. Sales, Technical Success, RevOps, Partnerships, User Ops), preferably on Technical roles.
  • Strong talent judgment to assess both experience and potential and raise the bar.
  • Comfortable acting as a strategic partner, influencing senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity.
  • Highly execution-oriented with the ability to run multiple complex searches simultaneously.

About this Role

We’re looking for an experienced Business Recruiter to help build some of the most critical teams at OpenAI, primarily focused on technical business roles within our B2B and go-to-market organisation. You’ll also need the versatility to take on hiring across other teams as business priorities evolve.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll operate as a strategic talent partner not just executing searches, but shaping how we attract, assess, and hire exceptional talent globally. You’ll own searches end-to-end, working closely with senior stakeholders to define hiring strategies, navigate complex markets, and deliver outstanding outcomes.

You’ll report to the APAC Recruiting Lead and collaborate closely with global recruiting, People, and business leadership to scale our organisation in a thoughtful, high-quality way.

Your responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end hiring for APAC roles, from scoping and calibration through to offer and close.

  • Navigate complex, global hiring environments by partnering with People, Legal, and Compensation to ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions to increase quality and velocity.
  • Bring market intelligence and insights to stakeholders, influencing hiring decisions and shaping talent strategy.
  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in-house at high-growth or high-bar environments.
  • Proven track record of hiring for business functions (e.g. Sales, Technical Success, RevOps, Partnerships, User Ops), preferably working on Technical roles.
  • Strong talent judgment, you can assess both experience and potential, and consistently raise the bar.
  • Comfortable operating as a strategic partner, influencing senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity.
  • Highly execution-oriented, with the ability to run multiple complex searches simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Skilled in building pipelines from scratch, especially in competitive or emerging talent markets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across regions and cultures.
  • Data-informed and structured in your approach, using insights to guide decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Experience with modern recruiting tools (e.g. Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter) and a mindset for leveraging new technologies.
