Job Overview
The Business Project Manager is responsible for overseeing BPA’s operational excellence, strategic initiatives, business development, sales growth, and event management. This role plays a key leadership function in driving organisational performance, strengthening partnerships with associations and stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of projects and events aligned with company’s vision.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Develop, implement, and improve operational processes, systems, and workflows.
- Coordinate across departments (coaching, administration, customer service, marketing) to ensure smooth operations.
Strategy & Planning
- Support senior management in developing and executing short- and long-term business strategies.
- Conduct market analysis and identify growth opportunities within sports, arts, and education sectors.
- Translate strategic plans into actionable projects with clear timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Track progress and ensure strategic initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international associations, federations, schools, sponsors, and partners.
- Represent BPA in meetings, networking events, and industry engagements.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and collaboration agreements.
Association & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main point of contact for associations and governing bodies.
- Maintain professional relationships to support competitions, certifications, events, and strategic collaborations.
- Ensure compliance with association requirements, regulations, and timelines.
Event Management
- Lead the planning, organisation, and execution of all BPA events, including competitions, camps, showcases, workshops, and corporate events.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, logistics, vendors, and manpower.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, associations, and sponsors to ensure successful delivery.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and reporting.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive sales initiatives for programmes, events, camps, and services offered by BPA.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet enrolment and revenue targets.
- Work closely with marketing and customer service teams to convert leads and retain clients.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare forecasts and reports.
Leadership & Project Management
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accountability.
- Identify risks related to operations, events, and projects, and implement mitigation plans to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance work culture.
