Advanced Micro Devices (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a data-driven Central Forecasting professional to own product-level demand forecasting for non-NPI silicon and to support supply planning through accurate, scalable analytics.
You will collaborate with finance, operations, and management to optimize forecasting processes, enhance dashboards, and leverage ML-driven insights for improved business outcomes. Strong SQL, Power BI, and Python skills are essential.
THE ROLE:
The Central Forecasting Team (CFS Team) is part of AMD's AECG (Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group) Business Operations & Planning team. We deliver AECG product-level demand forecasts, empowering Supply Chain teams to execute critical functions such as raw material preparation, capacity reservation, prebuilds optimization and E&O analysis. We generate revenue reports with AECG product, customer and market details for revenue consensus process. We build, maintain and continuously refine the Central Forecasting System, design data visualizations, and leverage analytics and automation to improve forecasting effectiveness and operational efficiency. CFS team works very closely with AECG Business Management, Customer Operations, Finance and Supply Chain teams to ensure every aspect of product forecasting runs smoothly.
THE PERSON:
The candidate must have strong analytical skills, be good with numbers, be meticulous, and possess a keen eye for detail to process large amounts of data within tight timeline. Ability to derive business insights from data and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation. Comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders and translating business needs into scalable reporting and analytical solutions. Strong team player, self-motivated, and open to continuous learning and adopting emerging technologies.
