JonDavidson Pte Ltd seeks a hands-on business operations professional for a six-month contract in Singapore. You will support project governance, billing, and audit-ready records, coordinating with onshore and offshore teams to keep delivery on track.
You will review budgets and cost plans, drive process improvements, and explore automation using Power Automate or related tools, while guiding project managers and stakeholders with clear governance standards.
Our client, a technology services organisation, is seeking a hands-on business operations professional for a six month contract. You will help project teams follow the right governance processes, keep project and billing information accurate, and resolve issues that could delay delivery. This is an individual contributor role working closely with the Business Support Lead and stakeholders across the organisation.
Support sales registration and cancellation, project creation and project lifecycle processes in line with internal policies and approval requirements.
Review project execution plans, budgets, cost sheets and billing plans; help teams resolve discrepancies, exceptions and process bottlenecks.
Advise project and delivery teams on governance requirements, system usage, accounting treatment and project monitoring; maintain accurate records for audit and reporting.
Coordinate with onshore and offshore service teams to ensure timely, consistent support and follow up on outstanding issues.
Identify practical ways to simplify workflows, improve controls and reduce manual effort, including opportunities to use Power Automate, RPA or AI tools.
Work with IT support and business stakeholders to investigate issues across ERP, CRM and project management systems.
Contribute to clearer dashboards, reporting templates and process guidance.
Assist the Business Support Lead with operational initiatives, audit queries and training or knowledge sharing for project managers and other stakeholders.
Guide junior colleagues and service providers on processes and quality standards as needed. The role has no formal direct reports.
A diploma or degree in business, finance or an equivalent discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in business operations, project governance, project support or a related project-based service environment.
Hands-on experience reviewing project information, working with budgets or billing processes, and coordinating with multiple stakeholder groups.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables; basic macros are useful. Confidence using Word and PowerPoint, with familiarity with SAP or other project management systems.
Sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to explain requirements clearly, manage competing deadlines and work independently.
Experience in IT services, project delivery or a service industry finance or operations team.
Exposure to CRM or project management systems, dashboard design or automation tools such as Power Automate and RPA.
Experience guiding colleagues, improving processes or helping teams adopt new ways of working.
This is a six month contract.
The preferred start is as soon as a suitable candidate is identified.
The role is onsite five days a week.
Any extension beyond the initial six months would depend on business needs and is not currently confirmed.
