This role is within the team responsible for management support for the Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Singapore in his day to day running of the business. The role spans driving the CEO’s strategic priorities together with other members of the senior management team and stakeholders across the Bank as well the OCBC Group. This includes management reporting, preparation of materials for and secretariat support for the CEO’s meetings, workshop facilitation, preparation and presenting of analytics, developing concept papers to delivering on implementing plans.

The role reports to the Head of the CEO Office, and supports the Head in coordination of activities across stakeholders of Bank, and especially to support the effectiveness and efficiency of client facing teams through to the GCOO Business Management function.

Main duties
Secretariat
  • Support / perform the duties of meeting secretariat in select committees and meetings chaired or hosted by the CEO
  • Support the CEO in review and preparation of business and topical updates for management committee/board meetings as well as liaison with other committee secretariats and senior management of BOS and OCBC Group
Strategy
  • Support the CEO in driving strategic priorities, opportunity and issue identification as well as planning and implementation of agreed actions or solutions as needed, including - performing analysis on internal process, policies and framework, external key industry trends and dynamics (technology, competitors, consumers, regulatory, etc.), and developing insights on the impact on our businesses.
  • Project/initiative management
  • Support the management of the CEO’s agenda through planning, execution and monitoring of projects, including – analysis of information, data and metrics, and framing of problems and issues for stakeholder engagement & resolution; defining potential desired outcomes, deliverables and appropriate engagement plan tracking of project progress and status.
Other
  • Undertake ad hoc responsibilities as assigned in support of the CEO’s day to day running of the business, including – planning and logistic support for activities managed by the CEO Office, troubleshooting issues and shaping solutions, and collaborating, influencing and facilitate decision making and stakeholder alignment to achieve objectives and deliver practical results.
  • Exposure to Private Banking is mandatory, with minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Solid demonstrable experience in working directly with Senior Management in a business management capacity within the Front Office
  • Driven self-starter who is delivery focused and possess strong communication, influencing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to organize people and processes, and ability to lead groups toward a single goal.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to various demands in a diverse culture.
  • Familiar with relevant rules and regulations, those relating to local private banking business
