Your role

Do you want to work closely with senior management on driving the business forward? Are you able to handle multiple priorities with energy and enthusiasm? Are you open to learn new topics, take initiative over a broad range of tasks and ready to work within tight deadlines?

We’re looking for a Business Manager to support these activities:

  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and implementing the strategic plans and priorities for GWM South-East Asia, Japan, India & Australia (SEA & JIA)
  • Decision‑making: Provide analysis, research and recommendations on key strategic initiatives to facilitate the decision‑making process
  • Management Rhythm: Support various senior management forums across the region by helping to drive agendas and manage action portfolios
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage important projects across the region, ensuring successful completion and alignment with organisational objectives
  • Employee engagement: Drive initiatives that promote employee feedback and engagement, foster a positive work environment and improve overall employee satisfaction and retention
  • Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison between the executive team and other stakeholders
Your team

You’ll be working in the GWM SEA & JIA Chief of Staff team in Singapore. In your role, you will be involved in the execution of key strategic GWM SEA & JIA priorities. This role provides the opportunity to grow and expand your knowledge as well as your network across all areas in GWM.

Your expertise
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar type of role (e.g. business management, strategy, project management)
  • Skilled at problem resolution with the ability to identify and address complex issues and challenges
  • Possess the ability to work with different stakeholders and deliver effective solutions
  • Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure compliance with regulations and procedures
  • Adept at managing ambiguity and ready to work within tight deadlines
  • A team player with high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to details and a positive attitude
  • Comfortable working with numbers and/or words: at ease with extracting and analysing large data sets and presenting the story behind the data in a management‑friendly format
  • Excellent in Excel, PowerPoint and communication skills
