SUPTASST, Specialist, Futures Client Services

Business Function

Global Financial Markets (GFM) plays an integral role within the bank's as a leader in Global Markets businesses. the bank's extends a broad range of capabilities in foreign exchange, rates, credit, structured products money market and securities trading, to a wide client segment consisting of corporations, retail, wealth and financial institutions.

Job Purpose

Our DCE desk is a part of GFM supporting execution and clearing of globally listed future and options as well as exchange-cleared OTC products and provides 24-hour access to a wide range of clients that transact through them along facilitating exchange clearing of OTC products. The Client Services group that supports DCE business is part of GFM COO Office, which includes Business Management & Support, Strategic Program Management, Operational Risk and Business Analysis & Planning. This role plays a critical role in servicing DCE customers on account matters.

As part of our Client Services group, you will liaise with the bank’s DCE clients, including but not limited to corporate and professional retail clients.

Responsibilities
  • Client Desk Support: Serve as primary point of contact for customers on account matters, including analysing client requirements and formulating solutions, addressing their needs and coordinating with supporting units to ensure timely and accurate response.
  • Managing Client Communications: Handle clients’ enquiries and feedback via different channels, including emails and phone calls. Assist in preparation and dissemination of customer updates.
  • Creation and updating of SOP’s: Ensuring business workflows and controls are adhered to. Proactive identification of gaps and areas of improvements including the application of regulatory and internal risk policy guidelines across end-to-end business activities.
  • Projects & Initiatives: Drive internal as well as customer process improvements and automation for better efficiency and customer experience.
  • Maintaining Processes & Workflows: Design and implement user/process requirements, including UAT/change coordination.
  • Liaison with exchanges, brokers and regulators on account matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree with 2 - 3 years of client-facing experience with experience in solving customer issues.
  • Good understanding of financial markets and trading products especially futures and commodities.
  • Good understanding of front-end technology platforms. CQG, FIS UBIX would be a plus.
  • Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining a sharp attention to detail.
  • Self‑starter with a consistent record for cultivating strong working relationships with various stakeholders and personalities.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
