Job summary

InfoCepts is hiring BI Developers to join our team in Singapore. You will develop and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS, translate business requirements into data mappings, and optimize SQL and MicroStrategy solutions for enterprise reporting.

Responsibilities include scheduling and monitoring SSIS packages and MicroStrategy jobs, ensuring data quality, and supporting upgrades across environments. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on SSIS and MicroStrategy.
• Hands-on experience in ETL development, data warehousing and data modelling.
• Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures, query tuning and performance optimisation.
• Experience developing MicroStrategy schema objects, reports and dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to business users.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data mappings and reporting solutions in collaboration with business users and stakeholders.
• Write and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures and views to ensure efficient data processing and report performance.
• Schedule, monitor and troubleshoot SSIS packages and MicroStrategy jobs, resolving data load failures and performance issues within agreed SLAs.
• Implement data validation, reconciliation and quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of reported data.
• Support system upgrades, migrations and deployments across development, UAT and production environments, including regression testing.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, data dictionaries, operational runbooks and change records.
• Provide production support and incident resolution, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
