Job summary

Traveloka is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to standardize how the company measures and understands its business, starting with Finance and Corporate Technology teams. You will partner with finance and stakeholders to define metrics, build dashboards, and turn complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

This role sits within the Data & Experimentation Platform and collaborates with BPA, Data Analytics across BU, and Data Warehouse Engineering teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science/Informatics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• 4–6 years in business intelligence or a similar analytics role in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud for dashboards and data sources; Familiarity with Looker/Data Studio, Preset, or Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills plus Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and other departments to standardize metric definitions and build data pipelines.
• Own and maintain the Operating Metrics and Profitability dashboard.
• Develop end-to-end data solutions from raw data to finished reports.
• Translate financial and operational trends into insights for stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Finance and other departments to standardize metric definitions, identify authoritative data sources, and build the data pipelines that feed them.
• Own and maintain the Operating Metrics and Profitability dashboard, ensuring data stays accurate and consistent over time.
• Work proactively with stakeholders across the Business Process and Analytics team to anticipate changing business needs and adapt dashboards ahead of time, not after the fact.
• Build end-to-end data solutions, from raw data to finished report, that reduce time other teams spend on manual data prep and reconciliation.
• Translate financial and operational trends into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Simplify complex metrics and ratios into a form that non-technical stakeholders can act on.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and analysis, reducing manual effort and human error.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science/Informatics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in business intelligence or a similar analytics role, ideally in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud for building and managing dashboards and data sources; Familiarity with other BI tools such as Looker/Data Studio, Preset, or Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills, plus working proficiency in Python or R.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail when working with large, messy datasets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable adapting quickly as business priorities shift. Self-motivated and able to work with a degree of ambiguity.

Good to Have

• Exposure to or hands-on experience with GenAI tools applied to analytics or reporting workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Databricks) and modern data stack (Semantic Layer).
