Quan Shui Wet Market is a third‑generation family business blending tradition with innovation. From wet market stalls to a leading online grocery platform, we are now expanding into physical stores, B2B sales, experiential events, and developing a proprietary F&B line built on our bestselling handmade dim sum.
As we enter an exciting phase of growth — including F&B concept launches, new marketplace channels, and high‑potential corporate partnerships — we’re looking for a commercially savvy, analytical, and entrepreneurial business development lead who can help shape and drive new sales channels, partnerships, and go‑to‑market strategies.
This role has a direct promotion track to Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager for candidates who demonstrate strategic thinking, executional drive, and leadership capabilities.
Your Role
You will drive growth across Quan Shui’s online and offline sales channels — from e-commerce platforms and corporate partnerships to B2B, groupbuy, and physical activations.
Senior candidates will additionally take on new channel development, F&B concept oversight, analytics leadership, and team mentoring.
Key Responsibilities (Junior to Senior responsibilities included)
1. E-Commerce & Marketplace Management
- Manage and optimise e-commerce platforms including Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, Grab, Foodpanda, and TikTok Shop, plus new/emerging marketplaces.
- Use marketplace dashboards (Shopee Seller Centre, Lazada Business Advisor, Grab Merchant Centre, TikTok Seller Centre) to track performance and execute optimisations.
- Coordinate with marketplace livestreamers and creators; plan and host in‑house livestreams (TikTok Live, Shopee Live).
- Track and optimise KPIs: conversion rate, basket size, traffic, voucher usage, CPO, and profitability.
- Maintain and improve product listings, SEO, descriptions, images, and bundles.
- Coordinate stock levels, new SKU onboarding, and fulfilment accuracy with Operations.
- Troubleshoot platform issues to ensure seamless customer experience.
1.1 Senior / Lead Track additions
- Explore and activate new online channels (e.g. Amazon, B2B marketplaces, food service platforms).
- Advise on pricing strategy, listing optimisation, and commercial structures across all platforms.
- Mentor junior e‑commerce staff managing existing channels.
2. Business Development (B2B, Groupbuy, Corporate Accounts)
- Acquire and grow recurring accounts across B2B, groupbuy communities, and corporate clients.
- Conduct outreach, prepare quotations, present proposals, and close deals.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Support revenue forecasting and pipeline management.
2.1 Senior / Lead Track additions
- Build a comprehensive B2B product catalogue & corporate sales kit.
- Develop scalable systems for lead generation, tracking, and conversion.
- Lead key corporate partnership negotiations.
3. Sales Campaigns & Revenue Strategy
- Support planning and execution of key campaigns (CNY, festive drops, payday periods).
- Analyse outcomes and recommend improvements to pricing, voucher structure, bundles, and product mixes.
- Align promotions with Marketing (EDMs, social, paid campaigns).
3.1 Senior / Lead Track additions
- Drive go‑to‑market strategy for new channels and products.
- Evaluate ROI for events, activations, and large‑scale campaigns.
- Recommend areas to double down or pivot based on data insights.
4. Analytics, Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare reports on revenue, traffic, conversion, margins, and marketplace KPIs.
- Conduct monthly competitor and pricing scans.
- Assist with product or sales forecasting.
4.1 Senior / Lead Track additions
- Create dashboards for cross‑channel revenue, margins, and profitability tracking.
- Lead forecasting for new channels and concepts.
- Provide strategic recommendations backed by data.
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with:
- Marketing: for promotions, campaigns, creative assets
- Operations: stock allocation, fulfilment, delivery accuracy
- Customer Service: issue resolution, experience improvement
- Founders: commercial strategy and new initiatives
5.1 Senior / Lead Track additions
- Provide commercial guidance to junior BD and marketing team members.
- Develop SOPs for BD, channel management, and client servicing.
- Prepare for eventual leadership of Sales & Marketing as Assistant Manager.
6. (Bonus) Off‑Site Events & Sales Operations
Candidates with this competency will be prioritised.
- Plan and execute off‑site sales activations: pop‑ups, fairs, Boutique Fair, Takashimaya Food Fair, roadshows, corporate events.
- Operate hot food stations (steaming, sampling, cooking demos) with proper SOPs, safety, and food standards.
- Plan manpower, coordinate logistics, manage stock transport and replenishment.
- Track on‑ground performance: sales, samples, conversions, customer feedback.
- Produce post‑event reports: insights, performance, recommendations.
Who We’re Looking For
For BD & E-Commerce Executive (Junior–Mid)
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field
- Strong fresh grads are welcomed; 1–3 years experience preferred
- Strong with numbers and analytics
- Organised, detail‑oriented, proactive
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced SME environment
Bonus: culinary interest, events experience, marketplace/hot food familiarity
For Senior BD Executive (Team Lead Track)
- 4–6 years in business development, partnerships, or channel management (FMCG, F&B, retail, or e‑commerce preferred)
- Proven track record in opening new channels
- Strong commercial instincts and strategic thinking
- Analytical with forecasting experience
- Cross‑functional collaboration experience
Bonus:

Compensation
BD & E-Commerce Executive (Junior–Mid)
- $3,000 – $3,800/month
- Commission on new revenue
- Guaranteed 13th month bonus
Senior BD Executive (Team Lead Track)
- $3,600 – $4,000/month
- Commission on new initiatives
- Guaranteed 13th month bonus
