Job description
About Quan Shui Wet Market

Quan Shui Wet Market is a third‑generation family business blending tradition with innovation. From wet market stalls to a leading online grocery platform, we are now expanding into physical stores, B2B sales, experiential events, and developing a proprietary F&B line built on our bestselling handmade dim sum.

As we enter an exciting phase of growth — including F&B concept launches, new marketplace channels, and high‑potential corporate partnerships — we’re looking for a commercially savvy, analytical, and entrepreneurial business development lead who can help shape and drive new sales channels, partnerships, and go‑to‑market strategies.

This role has a direct promotion track to Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager for candidates who demonstrate strategic thinking, executional drive, and leadership capabilities.

Your Role

You will drive growth across Quan Shui’s online and offline sales channels — from e-commerce platforms and corporate partnerships to B2B, groupbuy, and physical activations.

Senior candidates will additionally take on new channel development, F&B concept oversight, analytics leadership, and team mentoring.

Key Responsibilities (Junior to Senior responsibilities included)
1. E-Commerce & Marketplace Management
  • Manage and optimise e-commerce platforms including Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, Grab, Foodpanda, and TikTok Shop, plus new/emerging marketplaces.
  • Use marketplace dashboards (Shopee Seller Centre, Lazada Business Advisor, Grab Merchant Centre, TikTok Seller Centre) to track performance and execute optimisations.
  • Coordinate with marketplace livestreamers and creators; plan and host in‑house livestreams (TikTok Live, Shopee Live).
  • Track and optimise KPIs: conversion rate, basket size, traffic, voucher usage, CPO, and profitability.
  • Maintain and improve product listings, SEO, descriptions, images, and bundles.
  • Coordinate stock levels, new SKU onboarding, and fulfilment accuracy with Operations.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues to ensure seamless customer experience.
1.1 Senior / Lead Track additions
  • Explore and activate new online channels (e.g. Amazon, B2B marketplaces, food service platforms).
  • Advise on pricing strategy, listing optimisation, and commercial structures across all platforms.
  • Mentor junior e‑commerce staff managing existing channels.
2. Business Development (B2B, Groupbuy, Corporate Accounts)
  • Acquire and grow recurring accounts across B2B, groupbuy communities, and corporate clients.
  • Conduct outreach, prepare quotations, present proposals, and close deals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Support revenue forecasting and pipeline management.
2.1 Senior / Lead Track additions
  • Build a comprehensive B2B product catalogue & corporate sales kit.
  • Develop scalable systems for lead generation, tracking, and conversion.
  • Lead key corporate partnership negotiations.
3. Sales Campaigns & Revenue Strategy
  • Support planning and execution of key campaigns (CNY, festive drops, payday periods).
  • Analyse outcomes and recommend improvements to pricing, voucher structure, bundles, and product mixes.
  • Align promotions with Marketing (EDMs, social, paid campaigns).
3.1 Senior / Lead Track additions
  • Drive go‑to‑market strategy for new channels and products.
  • Evaluate ROI for events, activations, and large‑scale campaigns.
  • Recommend areas to double down or pivot based on data insights.
4. Analytics, Reporting & Forecasting
  • Prepare reports on revenue, traffic, conversion, margins, and marketplace KPIs.
  • Conduct monthly competitor and pricing scans.
  • Assist with product or sales forecasting.
4.1 Senior / Lead Track additions
  • Create dashboards for cross‑channel revenue, margins, and profitability tracking.
  • Lead forecasting for new channels and concepts.
  • Provide strategic recommendations backed by data.
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with:

  • Provide commercial guidance to junior BD and marketing team members.
  • Develop SOPs for BD, channel management, and client servicing.

Candidates with this competency will be prioritised.

  • Plan and execute off‑site sales activations: pop‑ups, fairs, Boutique Fair, Takashimaya Food Fair, roadshows, corporate events.
  • Operate hot food stations (steaming, sampling, cooking demos) with proper SOPs, safety, and food standards.
  • Plan manpower, coordinate logistics, manage stock transport and replenishment.
