Job summary

Weyoco by YoRipe in Singapore is seeking an exceptional Business Development & Operations Intern to support the business team. You’ll work on business planning, manage key projects, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as well as gain exposure to the full cycle of business operations.

Based in Singapore, this hybrid role offers hands-on experience in a fast-growing startup, with opportunities to shape growth strategies and drive revenue and user growth.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly business planning based on company growth KPIs.
• Plan projects with trackers, resources, timelines and budgets.
• Run day-to-day operations for offline activations (sampling, workshop, popup).
• Initiate, plan and execute events driving revenue and user growth.
• Manage external vendors and source new vendors as needed.
• Support business/campaign reports to customers.

We are looking for an exceptional Business Development & Operations Intern to support our business team in Singapore. You'll get the chance to work on business planning, manage key projects, execute deliverables with internal and external stakeholders as well as gain exposure to the full cycle of business operations. The candidate is to be based in Singapore.

Objectives & Responsibilities

• Support quarterly business planning based on company growth KPIs


• Support key projects through project planning - plan tactics based on project objectives, own operations tracker, manage resources, timeline and budget


• Run day-to-day operations with regards to offline activations - sampling, workshop and popup


• Initiate, plan and execute events driving revenue and user growth


• Manage external vendors and look for new vendors as business requires


• Support business / campaign reports to customers

Requirements Overview

• Curious, takes initiatives to learn, organised, understand in general how a business is run


• Good logical reasoning and planning capabilities, able to think through various steps to achieve an outcome


• Excited to learn and try different operation tasks, can problem solve when face roadblocks


• Great to have past project management and event organisation experience (but not a must, we can teach you)


• Strong communication skills – enjoys listening and discovering about others, empathetic, able to summarize and express thoughts clearly


• Excited to work in a startup environment where growth goals and stress level are high


• Independent thinker, fast learner, curious, resourceful, diligent and adaptive


• Min. 3 to 6 months of availability
