Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Sales Manager to drive business growth and manage customer relationships in the logistics sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in sales/business development within freight forwarding or logistics and possess a Class 3 License with an own vehicle. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on business development and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience in freight forwarding, shipping, air cargo, or logistics.
  • Possess Class 3 License & Own Vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt and secure new business and customers.
  • Meet targets and/or increase the organization's revenue, volumes, and gross profit.
  • Execute business development strategies and tactics.
  • Interact with local and regional vendors for the best rates.
  • Manage and analyze customer performance and execute necessary actions.
  • Work on tenders/RFQs/Bids if required.
  • Manage internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Contribute to process improvements and implementations.
  • Execute and manage other jobs as assigned.

Sales Manager
  • Working day: 5 days, Mon - Fri
  • Working Hour: 8.45am – 6.15pm
  • Salary range: $5,000 + Comm + Transport & Mobile Allowance
  • Location: Penjuru
Responsibilities
  • Hunt and secure new business and customers
  • Meet targets and/or increase the organization's revenue, volumes, and gross profit
  • Execute business development strategies and tactics
  • Interact with local and regional vendors (including Air, Ocean, and others) on securing the best rates in the market for customer proposal purposes.
  • Manage and analyze the performance of owned customers, identify the need for action and execute these actions
  • Work on tenders/RFQs/Bids if required
  • Positive internal stakeholder relationship management - Tech, Product, CS, Operations & others
  • Contribute ideas on process improvements & implementation of related improvements.
  • Execute and manage all other jobs as assigned by immediate and dotted line superiors.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience in freight forwarding, shipping, air cargo, or logistics
  • Possess Class 3 License & Own Vehicle
