Our Client, a logistics company in Singapore, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as experienced and skilled Business Development Manager.

To develop new and appropriate marketing strategies to enhance company growth by bringing in new business With concentration Locally and within Intra-Asia. The incumbent must have a deep understanding of market & competition to develop appropriate winning sales strategies and apply the sales and solutions expertise, in conjunction with in-house subject matter experts.

The goal is to boost overseas routing order (RO) shipments and to forge strong relationships with all clients. You will be the front of the company and will need to create and apply an effective sales strategy while increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

You are also expected to represent the company to negotiate for the best possible advantage with carriers, service providers and maintain good rapport with all.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for getting in new clients.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients and identify sales leads to develop new business opportunity.

  • Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics sector.

  • Conduct market research to discover potential clients and industries.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations.

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, carriers and market conditions.

  • Work on tenders/RFQs/Bids if required
