Job summary

An established IT-services firm in Singapore is looking for an IT Sales and Business Development Manager to drive business expansion by developing sales pipelines and engaging with clients. Location: Central Area (3 minutes walk from Promenade MRT)

Working Hours: 5 Days Work Week, 9am to 6pm (Mon-Fri)

The IT Sales and Business Development Manager works in close partnership with the IT business unit’s leadership and acts as the main technical and commercial liaison for clients and prospective customers. The role focuses on illustrating how standardized technology solutions integrate with each client’s operational and technical landscape, and how these solutions can create measurable value. The position also encompasses a range of responsibilities essential to driving business expansion, including engaging with clients, identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and supporting the sales cycle from initial contact to closure. To excel, the incumbent must bring strong technical insight, an entrepreneurial approach, and a high level of motivation to tackle challenges and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop a robust sales pipeline, and meet established sales targets and forecasts.
  • Build, manage, and execute the sales pipeline across the full portfolio of IT products and solutions.
  • Plan and coordinate sales initiatives, marketing activities, and promotional events.
  • Present appropriate technology solutions to clients and prepare well-structured commercial proposals.
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with prospects and customers to retain existing business and generate new opportunities.
  • Conduct ongoing research and gather insights on customers, market trends, and competitors to support strategic planning.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma with at least 3 years of experience in direct or indirect sales, with a strong track record in the System Integrator (SI) and/or Managed Services sector.
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex IT solutions, such as data centre technologies or enterprise IT systems.
  • An established network within the SMB and mid-market corporate landscape in Singapore is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to quickly understand and adapt to organizational processes, business opportunities, and operational constraints.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly client-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
