Job summary

A facilities management solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Sales/Business Development professional to generate new business and cultivate relationships in the construction industry. The ideal candidate has a diploma/degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong interpersonal skills. This role offers opportunities in a dynamic team environment.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Generate new business in the Facilities Management of Buildings/Infrastructures.
  • Form and build relationships with new and existing customers including developers, facilities owners and FM companies.
  • Form and build relationships with new and existing technology solution partners.
  • Meet targets/KPIs set out by management on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Work closely with other relevant departments to assess clients’ needs and propose solutions to meet these needs.
  • Work closely with marketing to sell the benefits of our unique range of products and packages.
  • Support branding and business development in new domains or markets.
  • Create a sales pipeline, working from prospect lists, cold calling, networking and conducting independent research.
  • Attend industry functions such as trade shows, conferences and webinars and provide feedback on market trends, opportunities for businesses and partnerships.
Job Requirements

Essential requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree holders
  • Candidate must have strong sales/business development skills and should have experience in construction industry. Experience in Facilities Management will be an advantage
  • Possess at least 2 years working experience in sales/business development.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication, written and presentation skills.
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work independently or within a team

Desirable requirements:

  • Knowledge of AEC Softwares and BIM technology
  • Knowledge and/or interests in IoT, AI, ML and Computer Aided FM systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
