Parabolea is a hedge fund based in Singapore.

We are hiring a Business Development Associate to manage the commercial relationships for the fund. The Business Development Associate will work directly with the Fund Sponsors to onboard AUM and assist in the administration of the fund.

We are seeking an experienced hire with 1-4 years of experience for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute on an AUM growth strategy for the fund.
  • Build and manage relationships with distribution partners to scale up AUM onboarding.
  • Prepare and maintain fund presentations and other marketing collaterals.
  • Manage investor communications and write periodic fund reports and market memos.
  • Frame and present the fund narrative, positioning and strategy USPs.
  • Represent the fund at investment seminars and industry networking events.
  • Work with business partners and service providers on investor KYC and fund documentation.
Requirements
  • 1-4 years of experience in business development, investor relations or marketing for a MAS-licensed fund.
  • Clear understanding of marketing / business development compliance as required by MAS.
  • Excellent in initiating and managing relationships with investors and business partners.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented. Adept in framing perspectives and communicating narratives.
  • Warm and engaging personality with high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Strong willingness to take on execution responsibilities in a small-team environment.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
