Job Description

This is a full time role for a Business Development Manager located in Alps Ave (Near Changi). Our clients are in the Freight Forwarding Industry. You will be responsible for developing marketing strategies to drive company growth by attracting new business, with a strong focus on local and Intra-Asia markets. It requires a deep understanding of market dynamics and competition to formulate effective sales strategies. The primary goals are to increase overseas shipments and build strong client relationships by implementing successful sales strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key responsibilities include acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and serving as the main point of contact for client inquiries. The role also involves conducting market research, negotiating terms with clients, collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations, and keeping management updated on sales progress. Additionally, staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities is crucial, as is working on tenders or bids when necessary.
