On behalf of one of its clients in Wealth and Fund management activities, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Business Development Manager
Responsibilities
- Business Origination, Networking and Opportunity Identification:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with fund managers, wealth managers and family offices seeking regulatory hosting and support solutions.
- Demonstrate strong network and utilize your networks across APAC to identify new opportunities, diversify revenue channels, and capture new client segments.
- Client Solutions:
- Understand the company’s industry and ecosystem thoroughly, identify external collaboration partners and business opportunities and deliver innovative business solutions to clients.
- Revenue Pipeline Management:
- Proactively build and maintain a robust new revenue pipeline, showcasing quarterly growth.
- Activity and Progress Management:
- Develop a business development plan and maintain a high level of activity with meaningful progress, including making calls, scheduling meetings, defining next steps, and following up promptly.
- Sales Quota Achievement:
- Meet or exceed sales quota goals and objectives consistently.
- Industry Representation:
- Actively participate in industry panels, conferences and networking events to build relationships, stay informed on market trends, and enhance the company’s visibility within the community.
- Marketing Support:
- Collaborate internally to develop promotional materials, campaigns and event strategies.
- Contribute to brand visibility and lead generation efforts through active input on marketing initiatives.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, market developments and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities.
- Brand Ambassadorship:
- Act as a brand ambassador in all client interactions, consistently embodying the company's values and commitment to excellence.
Requirements
- Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in Business Development, Campaign Management, or Product Management within the corporate and fund & wealth service industry, preferably in both B2C and B2B setups.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred, or relevant coursework in these areas.
- Industry Expertise:
- Demonstrated expertise in Alternative Funds and Structured & Wealth Products, with a deep understanding of market dynamics.
- Strong understanding of CMS licensing and MAS regulatory frameworks. Familiarity with fund structures, investment vehicles and tax regimes will be a plus.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively. Fluency in English is a must, ideally also in Chinese (Mandarin) to engage Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Organizational Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
