Key Responsibilities
- Lead the acquisition and growth of key institutional, brokerage, and exchange partnerships to expand liquidity coverage and trading activity.
- Develop and execute business development strategies that strengthen the firm’s liquidity offering and market positioning.
- Drive new business opportunities by identifying potential partners, structuring commercial terms, and closing strategic deals.
- Own the end-to-end relationship lifecycle — from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and long-term account management.
- Collaborate with internal teams across trading, operations, compliance, and legal to ensure smooth deal execution and service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitive activity to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Track and report key business metrics, sales pipeline, and client performance to management, providing insights for strategic planning.
- Contribute to cross-border growth initiatives, including new market entry, product expansion, and liquidity partnerships.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to elevate business development capability and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 6–8 years of experience in institutional sales or business development, preferably within digital assets, trading, or financial markets.
- Proven track record of building and scaling institutional partnerships and achieving commercial growth targets.
- Strong understanding of the crypto ecosystem, including liquidity, exchanges, and institutional trading workflows.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with senior counterparties.
- Strategic, analytical, and execution-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial acumen.
