A company specializing in counter-drone technology is seeking a Business Development Manager in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B/B2G sales within the defense and security sectors. This role involves identifying business opportunities, promoting counter-drone technologies, and managing the sales cycle. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant domains, with a willingness to travel extensively across Southeast Asia.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our international team in the counter-drone technology sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B/B2G sales within the defense, security, and government sectors, combined with a deep understanding of Drone and Counter-UAS technologies.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and technical skills, capable of identifying business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving growth across Southeast Asian markets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the security and defense markets, including military, police, public security agencies, correctional institutions, and critical infrastructure operators (e.g., airports).
Promote and position SkyFend’s Counter-UAS technologies and related security systems through presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients and partners.
Develop and execute effective sales and business development strategies to meet company goals.
Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation and proposal preparation to negotiation and deal closure.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners while expanding the company’s presence in target markets.
Collaborate closely with technical, R&D, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and industry intelligence to identify trends and opportunities.
Prepare and present business reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to management.
Travel frequently within the Southeast Asian region for business development activities, client meetings, and exhibitions.
Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B/B2G business development and sales, preferably within military, police, public security, prisons, or airport sectors.
At least 3 years of professional experience in the drone or counter-drone industry.
Strong technical knowledge of defense and security equipment, drone technologies, signal and radar systems, perimeter protection, and alarm systems.
Solid understanding of IT systems and networking, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience in relationship management, project sourcing, and industry networking.
Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with a proactive “hunter” mindset.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Southeast Asian countries.
