We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving our business expansion by identifying new opportunities, acquiring new clients, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Lead Generation
- Identify and approach potential clients through networking and other sales strategies.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitch materials tailored to client needs.
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, industry developments, and potential business opportunities.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
Tender Management
- Lead and manage the end-to-end tendering process, including identifying opportunities, coordinating internal inputs, and ensuring the preparation and submission of high-quality, competitive proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. finance, HR, Operations) to gather necessary information and ensure all tender requirements are met.
Support to General Manager
- Assist the General Manager in strategic planning and execution of business initiatives.
- Provide administrative and analytical support as required for decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years' experience in business development.
- Experience in preparing and managing tenders.
- Experience in IT related field will be added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
