A dynamic human resource firm in Singapore is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive business expansion through client acquisition and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of business development experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Experience in IT is a plus.

Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving our business expansion by identifying new opportunities, acquiring new clients, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition & Lead Generation:
    • Identify and approach potential clients through networking and other sales strategies.

    • Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitch materials tailored to client needs.

  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, industry developments, and potential business opportunities.

  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

    • Act as a point of contact for clients and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Tender Management:
    • Lead and manage the end-to-end tendering process, including identifying opportunities, coordinating internal inputs, and ensuring the preparation and submission of high-quality, competitive proposals.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. finance, HR, Operations) to gather necessary information and ensure all tender requirements are met.

  • Support to General Manager:
    • Assist the General Manager in strategic planning and execution of business initiatives.

    • Provide administrative and analytical support as required for decision-making processes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in business development

  • Experience in preparing and managing tenders

  • Experience in IT related field will be added advantage

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
