We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in engaging with IT vendors, government agencies, and other key stakeholders. This role involves identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships while actively exploring and securing government grants and support programmes to drive business growth and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Vendor Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors to explore strategic partnerships, solutions, and joint opportunities.
  • Government grants & incentives: Identify and apply for relevant government grants, funding schemes, and incentive programmes supporting technology adoption, business expansion, and innovation.
  • Business development strategy: Develop and execute business development plans that align with company growth objectives, leveraging vendor collaborations and available government support.
  • Market research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive advantages aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and discussions with government officials, industry associations, and external partners.
  • Reporting & compliance: Prepare business proposals, grant applications, and reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and documentation standards.
Requirements and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sales (experience in the IT or technology sector is highly desirable).
  • Strong understanding of government grant processes, schemes, and application procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory and government frameworks is an advantage.
