- Establish and sustain strategic partnerships across sectors such as consumer electronics, automotive, telecommunications, and industrial applications.
- Serve as the primary interface between clients and the organisation, ensuring exceptional customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Market and Competitive Analysis
- Monitor semiconductor assembly and testing trends, with emphasis on emerging technologies such as AI chips, MEMS, and 5G/RF ICs.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to strengthen the organisation’s value proposition and market differentiation.
- Provide data‑driven market insights to support strategic decision‑making and resource allocation.
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute sales and growth strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market share objectives.
- Present wafer probing, final testing, and value‑added services to prospective clients, highlighting technical advantages and ROI.
- Lead contract negotiations, balancing client expectations with corporate policies and profitability targets.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure consistent service delivery and quality.
- Communicate customer feedback and evolving technical requirements to support continuous improvement and product innovation.
- Coordinate with regional offices across multiple geographies to support global client engagements.
Technical Sales Support
- Maintain strong technical knowledge in core competencies such as testing platforms, yield improvement methodologies, and test program development.
- Collaborate with R&D and test engineering teams to deliver customized, high‑performance testing solutions.
Reporting and Forecasting
- Manage an accurate sales pipeline and provide reliable revenue forecasts and market projections.
- Prepare business performance metrics and market intelligence reports to support strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or technical sales within the semiconductor or electronics industry, ideally in testing or OSAT operations.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, with emphasis on back‑end and testing operations.
- Proven success in B2B technical sales or business development, achieving or exceeding business growth and revenue targets.
- In‑depth knowledge of semiconductor testing technologies, tools, and market trends.
- Hands‑on experience with ATE systems (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest) and familiarity with wafer‑level and package‑level testing solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to engage effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for regional and global communication.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to convey complex testing concepts clearly.
- Self‑driven, analytical, and able to manage multiple complex projects in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
- Regional or global business development exposure, with willingness to travel internationally when required.
