Overview

Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding) – Singapore

We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join a growing freight forwarding company based in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in freight forwarding and logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships both locally and overseas. As our business expands into Myanmar, you will play a key role in developing partnerships and managing logistics arrangements with our partners there.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth and develop new opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Coordinate and liaise with partners in Myanmar to establish and strengthen operations.
• Maintain close connections with the Burmese community in Singapore and provide excellent customer service when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of logistics solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Fluent in English and Burmese (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with partners and customers from Myanmar.
• Willing to travel to Myanmar when required.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.
