We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth, manage branch performance, and identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase market share and revenue
- Oversee operations and performance of all branches to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and retail expansion
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and store teams to ensure product availability and quality
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and KPIs to recommend improvements
- Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and key customers
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing branch management teams
- Prepare regular business reports for management review
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or retail operations, preferably in FMCG or grocery retail
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple outlets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Proactive, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
- Familiarity with supply chain, inventory, and merchandising in the retail sector
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant business software tools
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Working Hours
- 5.5 to 6-day work week, including weekends if required for branch visits
- Travel between branches required
