Job summary

A logistics company based in Singapore is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to expand its clientele. You will manage daily operations, provide administrative support to the Director, and ensure smooth execution of shipments. The ideal candidate has proven experience in business development and strong communication skills. This role offers a dynamic work environment in the Tuas area.

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

Job Description
  • Manage day to day operation with the office, sales, customer and marketing
  • work close with the director for meeting and customer relations matters and business future planning
  • incharge for providing quotations to customer by utilising sales and technical knowledge for preparation of quotation process.
  • Provide administrative support to Director including the co-ordination and organization of Director’s daily schedule
  • Make travel arrangements (when needed)
  • Assist the directors with communications, correspondences
  • Handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure
  • Managing the Management of important tasks and deadlines
  • monitor both FCL and LCL department for their customer, assist in daily operation and handles customer enquires when needed and able to solve problem when occurs.
  • oversee daily shipping and distribution operation within an organization.
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments
  • To liaise with freight forwarders/supplier and customer for shipping arrangement
  • Monitor and follow up for incoming shipment and keep customer updated
  • Issue of Sales Order/Purchase Order/Invoice and other documents when required
  • Provide day to day admin support to Sales and Management Team
  • Well versed with all permit declaration knowledge
  • Must be able to coordinate with agent on permit declaration information independently and ensure information are in order prior to submission to customs
  • Provide administrative support for shipping projects such as order processing, preparation of shipping documents, invoices, purchase orders, import/export documents, etc
  • Conduct scheduling and coordination of all administrative and logistical related matters
  • Liaise with forwarders and supplier on import/direct shipment arrangement
  • Process of import shipments and all related activities
Job Requirements
  • Willing to work in Tuas area (5min walking distance from Tuas Crescent MRT)
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfactionGood oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
