We are looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in the food industry and deep knowledge of Spanish products to drive our growth in Singapore and the region. You will be responsible for developing business strategies, identifying opportunities, managing client and supplier relationships, and ensuring successful expansion of our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the food and beverage sector in Singapore.
- Manage relationships with existing clients and prospects, ensuring exceptional service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for Spanish organic and gourmet products.
- Coordinate with suppliers in Spain to ensure product availability, quality, and compliance with local regulations.
- Analyze the market and competition to recommend strategic actions.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, events, and promotions to strengthen brand presence.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management using Xero and Microsoft Office.
- Support marketing initiatives with content creation and visual materials using Canva.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the food industry, specializing in Spanish products.
- At least 2 year of experience in Singapore or similar markets.
- C2 level in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong skills in Xero, Microsoft Office, and Canva.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of import, distribution, and local food regulations.
