Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and results-driven Sales Professional to join our Business Sales team. This role focuses on originating, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, promoting offshore investment products and services, and driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, exemplify resiliency and preferably a deep understanding of Chinese client’s requirements and also the Chinese financial market, a strong network of HNWIs and family offices, and a proven track record in sales within wealth management or a related field.
This position will be based in our business office at Capital Tower, Tanjong Pagar.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new clients in China and Southeast Asia, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing tailored wealth management and equity investment solutions.
- Execute orders for clients when necessary.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics in Southeast Asian financial markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and pitch investment products aligned with client needs.
- Work with senior management to formulate sales channel and delivery strategy.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the firm\u2019s revenue goals through strategic business development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all client interactions
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or related field.
- Candidates must be fluent in English and Mandarin language skills to communicate effectively with our local & international client base
- Strong understanding of Southeast Asian financial markets, including cultural and economic nuances.
- Prior experience in wealth management and equities is preferred.
- Proven track record in sales or business development within the financial sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong network of high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and other relevant contacts in China is highly preferred.
