Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving growth in the industrial machinery and mechanical engineering sector. The role involves managing client relationships, preparing project proposals, and coordinating with the engineering and installation teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business growth strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial machinery and equipment installation sector.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Prepare and present project proposals, quotations, and tenders.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate technical solutions for clients.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.
- Manage project negotiations and contract finalization.
- Coordinate post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3–5 years) in business development, preferably in the industrial or engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery, equipment installation, and mechanical works.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales and project goals.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
