Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful Business Development Manager to drive Harry’s expansion and oversee key aspects of our outlet portfolio. The role covers end-to-end responsibilities in business development, including site acquisition, lease negotiations, licensing and compliance, real estate and franchise management, as well as overseeing new store projects, renovations, and ongoing repair and maintenance. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to support sustainable business growth.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate new outlet opportunities and expansion projects.

Manage relationships with landlords, mall management, and property agents.

Oversee lease negotiations, renewals, and tenancy agreements to ensure favourable terms for the business.

Support franchise-related opportunities, including documentation and coordination with partners.

Licensing & Compliance

Ensure all outlets maintain valid licenses (e.g. liquor, food shop, signage, fire safety).

Liaise with relevant government agencies and authorities to secure approvals for new stores and ongoing operations.

Monitor compliance timelines and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Lead end-to-end project management for new outlet openings, renovations, and fit-outs.

Work closely with designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects meet timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Liaise with mall management, authorities, and vendors to secure necessary permits and approvals.

Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure smooth handover and readiness for operations.

Oversee repair and maintenance matters across outlets to ensure minimal downtime and operational efficiency.

Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to facility management.

Implement preventive maintenance programs and monitor associated costs.

Requirements

At least 5–7 years of experience in business development, retail real estate, or F&B project management.

Proven track record in lease negotiations, site acquisition, and outlet development.

Strong knowledge of licensing and regulatory processes in Singapore.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
