Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is looking for a Business Development Executive to identify clients in the waste management sector and maintain client relationships. Responsibilities include preparing proposals, negotiating deals, preparing sales reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates should have a diploma/degree in Marketing and possess their own vehicle. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $3,800 to $4,500, along with allowances and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

  • Must possess own vehicle for commuting.
  • Knowledge in Chemical field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients for waste management markets and establish relations.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate the best deals for the company.
  • Facilitate the preparation of Sales Orders with Customer Service.
  • Prepare Sales reports for the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain Customer Database with essential client information.
  • Assist in monitoring customer satisfaction and improving the Customer Care Program.
  • Gather market intelligence on customers, prospects, competitors, and trends.

Job description
  • Job Tittle: Business Development Executive
  • Working hours: 5 days 8am to 5pm
  • Location: Tuas
  • Basic $3000 to $3500, Gross salary: $3,800 – $4,500 (including incentive) + Transport Allowance $800 (fixed) + Transport & HP reimbursement ($700 + $200) + sign on bonus
Requirements

Responsibilities
  • a. Perform sales functions as follows:
    • Identify potential clients for the waste management market segments assigned to him or her with the aim to establish cordial and business relations
    • Prepare proposals and negotiate the best deal on behalf of the company through close follow-up with potential customers to obtain feedback on the status of quotations, competitors’ response, decision‑maker’s intention and any other relevant information affecting the outcome of the proposal
    • Facilitate the preparation of Sales Order through the Customer Service Executive and to work closely with him or her on sales and proper documentation
    • To prepare periodically, Sales reports for presentation to the Sales Manager
  • b. Work with Customer Service to maintain Customer Database with inputs such as name, designation, company, address, telephone and facsimile numbers and e‑mail address, etc
  • c. Assist Manager to maintain/improve the Customer Care Program by monitoring customer satisfaction, addressing customer complaints, and responding appropriately to any changes in customer’s personnel, equipment, processes, materials used and business strategy
  • d. Support market intelligence by gathering information on customers, prospects, competitors, new entrants, price, market situation and trends in the various segments, influence groups & stakeholders, service offering and substitutes
