Job summary

A recruitment consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Sales Representative to increase sales and manage client accounts. Responsibilities include prospecting new clients, monitoring sales efficiency, and preparing quotations. Candidates should have a minimum "O" level or equivalent and preferably some sales experience. The position offers training and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum "O" level, Professional Certificate, or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Working experience in sales/business development would be of an advantage.
  • Knowledge on Navision system would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales to current and prospective clients.
  • Prospect and qualify new accounts.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales efficiency against customer plans.
  • Optimize sales targets with internal departments.
  • Generate revenue through prospecting and up-selling.
  • Prepare standard quotations and proposals.
  • Maintain customer payment terms and monitor accounts.
  • Update sales data in Navision system.

  • Work location: Upper Thomson
  • Working hours: 8.30am-6pm / 9am-6.30pm (5 day work per week)
  • Salary: $2,500 - $3,800 + Commission
Job Responsibilities
  • Increase sales to current and prospective clients.
  • Prospecting, qualifying, developing and securing new & existing accounts.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales efficiency, strategies and productivity against inventory position and customers’ plan.
  • Optimize and maintain sales target in working closely with different internal departments - Marketing, Operations, Purchasing and Logistics.
  • Generates incremental revenue through prospecting, cold calling, up-selling and cross-selling activities within an account.
  • Prepares standard quotations and proposals.
  • Maintaining the credibility of the customers’ payment terms via prompt collections, close monitoring of accounts and having external information, insights and business intelligence, on credit issues of your customers.
  • Update sales data in Navision system
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
  • Sales & product training provided.
Requirements
  • Minimum “O” level, Professional Certificate, or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Working experience in sales / business development or in any other relevant field would be of an advantage
  • Knowledge on Navision system would be an advantage
