Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive / Manager to drive our business growth in the Taiwan market. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in the securities brokerage industry, a strong understanding of financial products and trading services, and a proven ability to develop and manage client relationships. You will be responsible for expanding our market presence, acquiring new clients, and fostering long-term partnerships that support our strategic growth objectives in Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Expansion: Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share and client base in Taiwan.
  2. Client Acquisition: Identify, engage, and onboard new retail and institutional clients for securities trading and investment products.
  3. Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic relationships with local financial institutions, introducing brokers, and channel partners.
  4. Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive sales performance to meet or exceed business targets through effective client engagement and account management.
  5. Market Research: Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends within the Taiwan securities market.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Operations) to ensure smooth business execution and regulatory compliance.
  7. Brand Promotion: Represent the company at financial events, exhibitions, and seminars to enhance brand visibility and client trust.
  8. Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on business development performance, market insights, and pipeline status.
Qualifications & Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  2. 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the securities brokerage, investment, or financial services sector.
  3. Strong understanding of financial products, trading platforms, and Taiwan’s securities regulations.
  4. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  6. Native or fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker with good command of English.
  7. Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently and as part of a regional team.
  8. Experience in online trading or fintech-related business is a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • Existing client network in Taiwan’s securities or investment industry.
  • Prior experience working with Taiwan-based brokers, wealth managers, or high-net-worth clients.
