BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (Senior Role)

We are seeking qualified business development executives to extend our national reach through expert cultivation of new, untapped business opportunities and relationships. The ideal candidates will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help build billion-dollar brands that make everyday activities easier for pet parents in Singapore.

Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will join and inspire our team of like-minded go-getters and take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory.

To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and research potential customers
  • Develop and maintain customers relationships
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Coordinate and develop mutually beneficial proposals to customers
  • Arrange business meetings with current and prospective customers
  • Monitor mutually agreed projects to ensure they are executed as agreed
  • Promote company’s products and addressing or predicting customer’s objectives
  • Work with the business development director to create successful sale proposals
  • Create and implement processes and policies to support company's overall business
  • Track and report to company and customer on the status of projects and its components
Requirements and skills
  • 2-4 years sales experience
  • 1-2 years FMCG sales experience
  • Proven sales track record
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Mon-Fri with occasional weekends
  • Well-Groomed at all times.
  • Preferably with Class 3 or Class 3A driving license
