Job summary

KosmodeHealth Singapore is a deep-tech spin-off from the Food Science & Technology Department of the National University of Singapore. Pursuing the mission to expand access to health from nature without burdening the earth, KosmodeHealth transforms food production by-products into premium functional ingredients and Food-as-Medicine products that benefit health of people and the earth.

ProTEGO™ - Protein Protects, protects human health with 32g protein, 13g fiber noodle and only 27g carbs. It protects the earth by using repurposed peanut protein and sweet potato fibre – ingredients that don’t need to be grown. It is crafted to be source of nutrient while facilitating a Low Carb Diet, a diet that is associated with health benefits such as diabetes remission and improvement of cardiometabolic markers.

ProTEGO™ has been gaining market traction since its Singapore launch in August 2025. We are seeking a mission-driven, waste-to-health champion to expand the sustainable health benefits of ProTEGO™ in and beyond Singapore.

Role Purpose

Drive sales and market expansion of ProTEGO™ by building trusted B2B and B2C sales channels across healthcare, wellness, food distribution, and food manufacturing sectors. This role requires a proactive business developer and sales professional to identify new opportunities, nurture client relationships, and execute marketing initiatives that grow brand presence and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and engage with target clients including but not limited to:
  • Hospitals and clinics
  • Health & wellness businesses such as gyms, fitness centers, and nutrition consultancies
  • Food distributors, caterers, and wholesalers
  • Restaurants, cafés, and hotels/resorts with wellness or health-focused dining
  • Food manufacturers and processors
  • Pharmacies and nutritional supplement retailers
  • Corporate wellness programs
  • Senior care and assisted living facilities
  • Health food stores and organic grocery chains
  • Online health food marketplaces and e-commerce platforms
  • Dietitians, nutritionists, and diabetes clinics
  • Foodservice providers for airlines and corporate catering
  • Develop lead generation strategies and maintain an updated sales database.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers to secure orders and increase repeat business.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral, promotional campaigns, and event participation.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals aligned with company goals.

Sales & Marketing

  • Achieve set sales and marketing objectives
  • Support digital marketing efforts and marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Coordinate product events, tastings, and presentations with partners.
Desired Candidate Profile

Experience & Skills Focus

  • Proven sales & marketing track record with at least 2 years of experience in business development especially within FMCG, healthcare, or food sectors.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute lead generation, marketing, and sales strategies that deliver results.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse clients and stakeholders.
  • Highly self-driven, resourceful, and able to work independently with startup agility.
  • Experience in marketing event coordination and digital marketing content creation is a plus.
  • Passionate about health, sustainability, and innovation in food technology.
