Business Development Executive (1-yr contract)
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to support the business development and marketing activities of THK Bloom ESLP, located at Eunos Crescent and Geylang Bahru. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring the financial sustainability of THK bloom ESLP's vocational models and in promoting inclusive employment pathways for persons with disabilities (PwDs). This role will work closely with the Programme Team, Allied Health Professionals, and Job Coaches to build financially viable product lines, expand revenue sources, and strengthen corporate collaborations. The incumbent will also market THK bloom ESLP's employment pathways to champion inclusive hiring practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Marketing
- Design, implement, and operationalise the marketing plan for THK bloom ESLP's products (e.g., Bakery, Urban Farm, Horticulture, Culinary, Craftwork, Assembly) to increase sales revenue.
- Regularly update and refresh marketing collaterals to ensure relevance to THK bloom ESLP's branding and target audience.
- Provide periodic sales and activities updates to management through reports and presentations.
- Assume profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities for THK bloom ESLP's product lines.
- Curate, stabilise, and expand product offerings within the Work Therapy Model to build sustainable income streams.
- Secure higher-value subcontract work opportunities to increase the income of the Work Therapy Model components in THK bloom ESLP.
- Partnerships & Employment Advocacy
- Proactively seek and strengthen collaborations with corporate partners to co-develop product lines and services that are financially viable.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across THK bloom ESLP's product and service offerings.
- Promote THK bloom ESLP's employment pathways and Work Integration Employment Model (SENSEPods & IPS) to encourage inclusive hiring and open employment for PwDs.
- Other Duties
- Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer (Head of Community Services).
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in business development or marketing.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to multi-task effectively.
- An interest in and good understanding of the social service sector, vocational training, and inclusive employment for PwDs is preferred.
