Job description

We are looking for an experienced and drivenBusiness DevelopmentExecutiveto expand our bespoke software business across both public and private sectors. This role involves end-to-end business development and sales execution, from pipeline development, pre-sales, to negotiation and closure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in project delivery, and an established network in relevant industries.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing strategies to grow our footprint in the public and private sectors.

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and negotiation to deal closure.

  • Drive enterprise software deals, with a preference for deal sizes above $3 million.

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, and technical stakeholders.

  • Ensure proper documentation of deal terms, pricing structures, and contract negotiations.

Pre-Sales & Bid Management

  • Lead the response to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, ensuring accurate, competitive, and compliant submissions.

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., project management, technical teams) to craft compelling business proposals.

  • Conduct cost estimation, solutioning, and risk analysis for tenders and proposals.

  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.

  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build partnerships and gather market intelligence.

Key Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience:5+ years in pre-sales, sales, business development, or account management within the technology industry, ideally with experience insales of bespoke software solutions.

  • Deal Size:Proven track record of successfully closing enterprise-level deals exceeding$3 million.

  • Industry Network:Established relationships withingovernment agencies, financial services, or other large enterprises in the private sector

  • Technical Acumen:Background in software development, system integration, or ICT solutions is a strong advantage.

  • Sales & Bidding Expertise:Experience managing RFP/RFQ responses, proposal writing, and solution costing.

  • Communication & Negotiation:Strong ability to communicate complex solutions in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Attributes:
  • Project Delivery Exposure:Hands-on experience with project management or software delivery, understanding project timelines, stakeholder management, and solution execution.

  • Experience working inSingapore’s public sector procurement process(GeBIZ, tenders, etc.).

  • Prior experience inagile software development environments.

  • Ability to leadcross-functional teamsin deal structuring and pre-sales support.

  • Willingness totravelfor business development and client engagements.
