- Source and establish relationships with prospective clients such as shipowners, charterers, and bunker trading companies.
- Enhance retention and growth among existing customers through tailored relationship management and reliable support.
- Continuously monitor market conditions, assess price competitiveness, and review rival activities to seize new business opportunities.
- Liaise with internal logistics, supply, and operations teams to ensure effective delivery and superior service quality.
- Lead contract and agreement discussions with clients and suppliers, ensuring compliance with policies and maximizing returns.
- Contribute to the promotion and market entry of sustainable and conventional fuel alternatives, including biofuels and methanol.
- Compose detailed market intelligence summaries and recommendations to guide business decisions and long‑term sales strategy.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or a comparable discipline.
- A minimum of five years of proven track record in marine fuel sales, bunker trading, or maritime business development.
- Thorough understanding of international bunker supply chains, pricing methodologies, and shipping operations.
- Demonstrated history of cultivating and sustaining important industry relationships.
- Outstanding negotiation, analytical, and communication abilities, with readiness for both regional and global travel.
