A management consulting firm in Singapore is looking for a Business Development Manager responsible for establishing goals, building networks, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in business development within the financial services sector and possesses strong client relationship management and communication skills. This role involves driving marketing activities and achieving sales targets.
Establish business goals, formulate business development plans and strategies to maximize sales opportunities in the local and overseas market
Build network with new and existing clients and business partners and sustain sales leads to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Proactive in identifying business, accounting and compliance needs of clients
Conduct market intelligence and provide insights into identifying new business opportunities
Drive the implementation of various business development and marketing activities
Handle new business enquiries and collaborate with various offices to ensure alignment of strategies to achieve sales targets
Diploma or above, preferably in Accountancy and Business Administration
A minimum of 3 years of business development / client management experience in professional firms or financial services institutions including banks and insurance companies
Proven business development experience with ability to convert leads and cross sell business
Strong business acumen. Good client relationship management, problem‑solving, communication and presentation skills
Effective planning and organizing skills, able to handle multiple priorities and deliverables
