Job description

The Business Development and Engagement Lead (BDEL) is responsible for the sustainable growth of FS8 Marina Bay, working with the team on the day-to-day operations and supporting with creative business development initiatives.

This role requires a strong passion for fitness, exceptional leadership and organisational skills, a creative and collaborative mindset, and the ability to create a positive and motivating environment for staff and members.

Key responsibilities include leading and developing the team, delivering exceptional customer service, driving membership growth, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming facility.

The BDEL is also responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, driving membership growth, and maintaining a clean and safe facility. Formal brand training will be provided.

We are looking for a combination BDEL and Trainer (to hold relevant PT and where possible, Pilates certifications)!

Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Business Development:
  • Creative flair for developing business development initiatives
  • Being our social media mastermind
  • Designing and executing sales and marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Reaching out and managing brand collaborations
  • Ensure all enquiries are attended to promptly and professionally on all platforms
  • Track all leads and implement a system to ensure effective conversion rates
  • Promote and sell studio packages, programs and services
  • Diligent promotion of all studio programs, services and products
  • Design and execute member signup, retention and renewal strategies
2. Supporting Operations:
  • Working with Studio Manager and FOH on all aspects of the studio's operations, including scheduling, class set-up, trainer scheduling, facility maintenance, and equipment upkeep.
  • Co-develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to optimise studio performance
