Job description
The Position

Are you passionate about turning data into impactful decisions? Join us at Boehringer Ingelheim as a TA Analytics Lead and play a key role in driving business growth and improving patient outcomes across the ASKAN region (ASEAN, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand).

In this role, you’ll go beyond numbers—delivering meaningful insights that support new product launches and shape long-term strategies. You’ll lead performance-based and long-term forecasting processes, ensuring that our cross-functional teams—from marketing to medical—have the insight-driven guidance they need to make confident, timely decisions.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Strengthen regional understanding of competitive positioning and market dynamics by partnering with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Medical, and Clinical Operations—at both regional and country levels.

  • Lead the regional forecasting process, including Performance-Based Forecasting (PBF) and Long-Term Forecasting (LTF). Develop models and provide guidance for both in-market and pipeline assets, ensuring alignment with global standards. Review and consolidate local forecasts, validate assumptions, and promote ambition and accuracy.

  • Support strategic planning and research by collaborating closely with Marketing, Medical, and other stakeholders. Oversee primary market research across therapeutic areas and functions, ensuring consistency and sharing of insights across teams.

  • Enhance organizational understanding of client and patient perspectives. Recommend alternative approaches and data sources to unlock deeper insights and enable better decision-making.

  • Contribute to building a strong regional analytics community. Proactively communicate best practices, AI&F (Analytics, Insights & Forecasting) team priorities, projects, and deliverables to foster transparency and collaboration.

About our future employee
  • Minimum of five years’ experience leading analytics, forecasting, or business intelligence projects, with a proven ability to manage complexity and deliver results.

  • Strong foundation in decision support, business analysis, forecasting, market research, or controlling, paired with a strategic mindset.

  • Solid understanding of the Human Pharma business, with the ability to connect data to business impact. Experience in Sales or Marketing is a plus.

  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional environments, with a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solving.

  • Skilled in project management and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on building trust and alignment across teams.

  • Excellent communication skills—able to simplify complex data, influence decisions, and foster shared understanding.

  • Highly organized, structured, and proactive, with strong ownership and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with tools such as IQVIA, Veeva, Excel, and market research methodologies is an advantage.

  • Curious, adaptable, and passionate about continuous learning and driving excellence through insights.
