A leading staffing services provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to work on Treasury & Markets projects. Candidates should have 6–8 years of experience in the banking domain, strong technical and business knowledge, and familiarity with multi-asset class products. The role includes collaborating with various stakeholders, managing projects independently, and performing User Acceptance Testing. Competence in SQL and Agile methodologies is highly advantageous.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a Scrum team managing Treasury & Markets projects and enhancements.
• Gather business requirements from various stakeholders (Front Office, Back Office, Finance, etc.), including facilitating requirements workshops and discussions.
• Analyze and validate business needs translating them into detailed requirement specifications covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure all requirements are properly documented with complete traceability.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), perform reviews, and drive resolution of issues encountered during testing.
• Respond promptly to issues raised by stakeholders by applying strong business, operational, and technical understanding to propose effective solutions.
• Demonstrate strong subject matter expertise in both business and technical areas.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across Technology & Operations (T&O) to deliver structured, well-designed solutions.
• Act as an effective bridge between business users and technology teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Work effectively within the team, demonstrating strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in the banking domain.
• Strong business and technical knowledge, with understanding of multi-asset class products such as FX, Bonds, FX Options, and Equity Derivatives (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with SQL; knowledge of Elastic Search/Kibana is an added advantage.
• Prior experience working on Treasury & Markets–related projects is preferred.
• Ability to independently run and manage projects from initiation to completion.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is an advantage.
• Highly organized, able to work with minimal supervision, and flexible enough to handle multiple projects effectively.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools is an advantage.
