Senior Business Analyst – SAP HCM (Payroll / Time Evaluation)
Overview
We are looking for a seasoned SAP HCM Functional Consultant to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst. The role involves driving end-to-end SAP HCM initiatives with a focus on Payroll and/or Time Evaluation, particularly in relation to Singapore statutory requirements. You will be responsible for supporting system enhancements, leading change requests, and partnering closely with HR and cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of SAP HCM change requests and enhancements — from requirements gathering to solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Provide expert functional support across SAP HCM modules, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and stakeholders are kept informed.
- Configure and troubleshoot Payroll and/or Time Evaluation schemas, PCRs, and related functionalities.
- Collaborate with business and HR teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements.
- Support and maintain integrations between SAP and external systems to ensure data accuracy and seamless interfaces.
- Prepare and maintain clear functional documentation in compliance with internal governance and statutory standards.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands‑on SAP HCM implementation or support experience as a Functional Consultant.
- Strong practical knowledge of Payroll and/or Time Management (Positive Time Evaluation) configuration.
- Solid understanding of Singapore statutory requirements (CPF, SDL, SHG, IRAS).
- Proven ability to read, design, and modify Payroll and/or Time schemas and PCRs independently.
- Experience in Personnel Administration and Organizational Management integration with Payroll/Time.
- For Payroll: Experience in GL posting configuration.
- For Time: Experience configuring Work Schedule Rules, Absence Quotas, and Absence Types.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Basic ABAP debugging and log analysis skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing, configuring, and testing SAP HCM solutions end-to-end.
- Familiarity with SAP integrations involving external or third‑party systems.
- Exposure to regional or multi‑country SAP HCM environments.
