About The Business Analyst Role We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support the ongoing product management and enhancement of our secure Large File Transfer platform and identity access management system. The successful candidate will bridge business needs with technical solutions, ensuring that both products evolve in line with user requirements, operational efficiency, and security standards.

Scope Of Work And Responsibilities

• Advise on viability, feasibility, and impact of policy/business changes on the product.
• Elicit, analyse, and document business and information needs which can be supported by the proposed product as user stories.
• Translate business requirements into user journeys and technical requirements, developing prototypes using visual mock-ups and wireframes.
• Work with Product Teams to resolve issues and ensure defects are rectified according to requirements specifications in a timely manner.
• Drive product outcomes by delivering actionable insights.
• Conduct market analyses to identify problem space and opportunity size.
• Evaluate existing solutions to identify unique opportunities or areas of synergies.
• Conduct user interviews and gather insights to inform formulation of problem statement.
• Define key success factors, identify relevant metrics, and build dashboards to track metrics.
• Analyse results post-release to identify areas of improvement.
• Analyse impact of requested changes and assess reasonableness of requirements.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the product management and continuous enhancement of our product enabling secure large file transfers with external stakeholders, as well as providing comprehensive product oversight and strategic support for our identity access management system. The role involves gathering stakeholder requirements and coordinating system improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency, ensuring both products meet evolving business needs and security requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Communications Technology, Engineering or related subject area with at least four (4) years of experience as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, Product Owner or equivalent in Agile projects.
• Prior working experience in product management, IT business analysis, application solutioning design and testing.
• The BA should preferably be a Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Master or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work effectively and independently under pressure and prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in change management to facilitate user adoption of products is an advantage.
