Job Description
- Position: Business Analyst
- Well Established General Insurance Company
- Working Hours: 8 Hours Per Day, 5 Days Work Week
- Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,500

Main Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering
- Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather information.
- Document and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
Process Analysis
- Analyze and model existing business processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose optimized solutions.
- Develop workflow diagrams and data models.
Solution Design
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to design solutions.
- Create functional specifications and user stories.
- Ensure solutions meet business objectives and requirements.
Project Management
- Assist in project planning, including timelines, resources, and budget.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery.
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Develop test plans and test cases.
- Conduct and coordinate testing to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Identify, document, and track issues and ensure they are resolved.
Change Management
- Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies.
- Provide training and support to users.
- Develop user manuals and documentation.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze data to identify trends and insights.
- Prepare and present reports to management and stakeholders.
- Use data to drive decision-making and business improvements.
Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops.
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT environment.
- Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
