Job summary

Tencent Finance is offering an internship-style role focused on business analysis and AI-enabled Finance IT projects in Singapore. You will map business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into system designs and prototypes while collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to support end-to-end delivery.

• Business Analysis & Product Support
• Participate in global Finance IT projects by understanding business processes, gathering and analyzing user requirements, and translating business problems into clear system and product requirements
• Help map business processes, user scenarios and system logic, and prepare requirement documents, process flows and product prototypes
• Collaborate with business users, engineers and other stakeholders to support end-to-end delivery from requirement analysis and design through development, testing and launch
• AI Application Implementation
• Participate in the practical implementation of AI across Finance IT scenarios, identifying opportunities where AI can address real business pain points
• Use AI tools to rapidly build product prototypes, workflows or internal productivity tools to validate business ideas
• Support requirement design, testing and solution validation for use cases such as intelligent Q&A, document/invoice processing, intelligent review and data analytics
• Help structure business knowledge, rules and test cases, and continuously improve AI applications based on actual results and user feedback
• Testing, Launch & Operations
• Support functional testing and UAT, including test case preparation, issue tracking and follow-up
• Support pre- and post-launch checks, user communication and issue resolution
• Review basic operational data and user feedback to identify issues and potential product improvements
• Assist in preparing user guides, launch communications, product introductions and adoption materials
• Project Support
• Conduct research on relevant products, solutions and industry practices
• Support vendor communication, solution comparison and information gathering when required
• Assist with project documentation, meeting notes and progress tracking

Requirements

Who We Look For

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree (advanced undergraduate or postgraduate students encouraged to apply)
• Background from Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Computer Science or other technology-related disciplines are preferred. Candidates from Finance, Accounting or other relevant business disciplines are also welcome
• Coding experience is not required, but you should have strong interest in and understanding of systems, data and technology
• Strong interest in AI/LLMs and their practical applications, with willingness to actively explore and use AI tools to solve real business problems
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down problems and communicate clearly
• Good communication, execution and teamwork skills
• Good English reading, writing and communication skills to communicate with regional stakeholders; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for cross-team collaboration
• Able to commit to at least 6 months, 5 days per week

Nice to Have

• Internship or project experience in Business Analysis, Product, Information Systems, digital transformation or enterprise systems
• Experience using AI tools to solve practical academic or business problems
• Familiarity with Figma or other prototyping/process design tools
• Basic knowledge of SQL, data analytics or BI tools
• Interest in or exposure to Finance, Accounting, Tax, or Travel & Expense processes
